Day 1 :

Meeting a driver. Transfer to border: Samarkand – Penjikent (60 km, Cross border 1 hour) Fann Mountains – Drive along beautiful mountain pass 160 km 3 hours to the lake, make photo stops on the way. Iskanderkul Lake – Arrive mountain camp, light lunch, 3 hour mountain trekking to waterfalls and snake lake. Meals included: Picknick lunch and Dinner Accommodation included: Mountain Camp Isaknderkul

Samarkand – Isaknderkul (220 km

 

Day 2

Sarytag – Wake up to breathtaking sunrise at the lake, 3 hour hike to picturesque mountain village, hike the lakes shores or ride a boat around the lake 90 minutes (depending on availability-extra payment) Drive to Samarkand – Say goodbye over a relaxing picnic lunch, drive back to Samarkand Meals included: Breakfast and Picnic lunch No accommodation included on this day. Day 1: Seven Lakes (Haft Kul)

  • Morning: Depart from Samarkand, Uzbekistan, and cross into Tajikistan, heading towards the Seven Lakes region in the Shing Valley.

  • Midday: Explore the Seven Lakes, each uniquely colored and situated at different elevations. These lakes are renowned for their varying hues, from deep blues to vibrant greens, influenced by the time of day and weather conditions.

  • Afternoon: Engage in light hiking around the lakes, interact with local communities, and experience traditional Tajik culture.

Day 2: Iskanderkul Lake

  • Morning: Depart for Iskanderkul Lake, approximately a 3-hour drive from the Seven Lakes area.

  • Midday: Arrive at Iskanderkul, a glacial lake situated at an altitude of 2,195 meters, famed for its triangular shape and turquoise waters.

  • Afternoon: Explore the surroundings, including a hike to the nearby 38-meter-high waterfall, often dubbed the “Niagara of the Fann Mountains.”

  • Evening: Return to Samarkand or opt for an overnight stay near Iskanderkul, depending on your preferences and tour arrangements.
